The purpose of this study was to examine the use of social media for recruitment of patients with a history of an Inferior Vena Cava Filter (IVCF). The secondary goals were assessment of the prevalence of pain attributed to having an IVCF in place and to gauge patient understanding of follow-up after filter placement.
