Over 130,136 pesticide related calls are made to poison control per year and an average of 20,116 cases are treated in health care facilities, yet studies have shown that there are evident gaps in pesticide knowledge among healthcare providers. This project focuses on increasing provider pesticide knowledge with the use of a thorough and concise educational intervention for providers to be able to identify patients at risk for pesticide related illnesses and diagnose and manage patients who present with pesticide illness or toxicity. 000008029 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000008029 650__ $$aPesticides$$023885 000008029 650__ $$aKnowledge$$031571 000008029 6531_ $$ahealthcare providers 000008029 6531_ $$aadverse effect 000008029 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000008029 7001_ $$aMaria, Rivera,$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000008029 8564_ $$954592d5b-7bcc-47f5-9175-a3869ee322d2$$s219368$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/8029/files/Rivera.Maria.2020.pdf 000008029 905__ $$a/rest/prod/9c/67/wn/44/9c67wn444 000008029 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:8029$$pstudent-work 000008029 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
