These types of fractures mostly impact older adult populations and can significantly diminish an individual's quality of life. The current state of the literature regarding identification and appropriate treatment of osteoporosis in the setting of fragility fracture is in a formative stage, one that raises many more questions than it answers, however a couple of trends are clear: consistently low rates of osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment in the setting of fragility fracture/s, and a consistent lack of formalized assessment/treatment protocols. 000008054 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000008054 650__ $$aGeriatrics$$019498 000008054 650__ $$aOsteoporotic Fractures$$039374 000008054 650__ $$aOsteoporosis$$023359 000008054 650__ $$aFractures, Bone$$036511 000008054 650__ $$aFractures, Spontaneous$$019259 000008054 6531_ $$atrauma 000008054 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000008054 7001_ $$aHaynes, Kristen$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000008054 8564_ $$9bbb3ac2a-fd27-422d-809c-5e79fc6cdc39$$s202663$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/8054/files/Haynes.Kristen.2020.pdf 000008054 905__ $$a/rest/prod/3n/20/3z/73/3n203z73f 000008054 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:8054$$pstudent-work 000008054 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
