Despite its widespread use in Oregon, a low-incidence state, the personnel costs of DOT case management have not been well quantified. This study aimed to estimate DOT-related personnel costs by measuring the time spent per TB case by Nurse Case Managers and Outreach Workers and identifying predictors of increased management time and cost. Improved understanding of these costs can support more accurate budget planning and equitable allocation of state funding to county health departments, helping sustain uniform and effective TB control programs across Oregon. 000000821 540__ $$fCC BY 000000821 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000000821 650__ $$aCosts and Cost Analysis$$017146 000000821 650__ $$aTuberculosis$$027470 000000821 650__ $$aCase Management$$031347 000000821 650__ $$aDirectly Observed Therapy$$033048 000000821 650__ $$aStandard of Care$$039491 000000821 651__ $$aOregon--Salem$$043912 000000821 651__ $$aOregon$$041094 000000821 651__ $$aOregon--Multnomah County$$044280 000000821 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000000821 692__ $$aDepartment of Public Health and Preventive Medicine$$041444 000000821 7001_ $$aRubado, Daniel$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000000821 8564_ $$9003daf24-904e-4836-ac81-99adb52cdb46$$s483827$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/821/files/824_etd.pdf$$ePublic$$2f61ec1d3ae1d370fa90eb44a4f7edb4c$$31 000000821 901__ $$a<p>These documents are archival records.
