SIGN reaches across 52 countries and interacts with over 5,000 surgeons, but expanding their care has led to an overwhelming amount of medical data; SIGN's Online Surgical Database (SOSD) contains over 500,000 images spanning two decades and is continuing to grow. We apply machine learning tools to the SOSD to improve the throughput of radiograph analysis to assist SIGN in further expanding their reach and effectively helping surgeons and patients. 000008309 540__ $$fCC BY 000008309 542__ $$fIn copyright - joint owners 000008309 650__ $$aOrthopedics$$023320 000008309 650__ $$aMachine Learning$$011449 000008309 650__ $$aDeep Learning$$012734 000008309 650__ $$aFractures, Bone$$036511 000008309 650__ $$aArtificial Intelligence$$015109 000008309 650__ $$aRadiography$$025097 000008309 650__ $$aData Science$$012787 000008309 6531_ $$asurgery 000008309 6531_ $$asign's online surgical database 000008309 6531_ $$aobject detection 000008309 6531_ $$acomputer vision 000008309 692__ $$aPNNL Biological Sciences Division$$041376 000008309 7001_ $$aPope, Jenna$$uPacific Northwest National Laboratory$$041356 000008309 7001_ $$aSivaraman, Chitra$$uPacific Northwest National Laboratory$$041356 000008309 7001_ $$aRamirez, Edgar F.$$uPacific Northwest National Laboratory$$041356 000008309 7001_ $$aBrandi-Lozano, Juan$$uPacific Northwest National Laboratory$$041356 000008309 7001_ $$aShort, Joshua$$uPacific Northwest National Laboratory$$041356 000008309 7001_ $$aLewis, Isaac D.$$uPacific Northwest National Laboratory$$041356 000008309 7001_ $$aBarnes, Brian D.$$uPacific Northwest National Laboratory$$041356 000008309 7001_ $$aZirkle, Lewis G.$$uPacific Northwest National Laboratory$$041356 000008309 711__ $$aResearch Week$$uOregon Health and Science University$$d2020 000008309 789__ $$eIs supplement to$$w10.21037/jmai-20-2$$2DOI 000008309 789__ $$eIs supplement to$$w10.6083/BPXHC42289$$2DOI 000008309 792__ $$a1.)
