TY - THES AB - Stainless steel crowns (SSCs) remain the standard for restoring extensively carious primary posterior teeth due to their strength, durability, and reliability, but growing demand for improved esthetics has led to the development of posterior pre‑veneered SSCs. Despite increased acceptance by parents and patients, concerns remain regarding the durability and longevity of these esthetic restorations under functional loading. Fatigue from cyclic masticatory forces is a primary cause of veneer failure, yet limited in vitro data exist on the performance of posterior pre‑veneered crowns. The aim of this study is to compare three commercially available posterior pre‑veneered SSCs by ranking their resistance to esthetic failure following simulated dynamic cyclic fatigue representative of one year of clinical service.
