Similar to gene expression, alternative splicing does not occur independently, but in a coordinated fashion throughout the transcriptome in order to maintain proper cellular function. Gene co-expression networks have been widely used as an approach to elucidate coordinated regulatory patterns of gene transcription. Studies have shown that genome-wide expression can occur in the form of network modules consisting of highly co-expressed genes operating within specific cellular pathways. Such modules are often well-preserved across similar biological systems and associated with various phenotypes. Here we demonstrate a framework for de novo network inference of co-splicing in the form of modules consisting of complex alternative splicing variants. 000008743 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000008743 650__ $$aGenomics$$033016 000008743 650__ $$aAlternative Splicing$$029939 000008743 6531_ $$aacute myeloid leukemia 000008743 6531_ $$arna-sequencing 000008743 6531_ $$abioinformatics 000008743 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000008743 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000008743 7001_ $$aEgger, Julian$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000008743 8564_ $$97714aca7-739e-4d90-8cba-748b454ea325$$s30303979$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/8743/files/Egger.Julian.2020.pdf 000008743 905__ $$a/rest/prod/5h/73/pw/81/5h73pw81c 000008743 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:8743$$pstudent-work 000008743 980__ $$aBiomedical Informatics
