The perioperative surgical clinic is one of the key components in improving the quality of care through identification, risk stratification, and management of the patients going through elective surgeries. Perioperative surgical clinic is a concept that has existed for a long time that is implemented in various ways. To help its operation, the perioperative surgical clinic utilizes a patient management system. However, the current usability relies on a software engineer's perspective rather than the actual users. This project reports a usability inspection of the current system through heuristic evaluation by actual users. After evaluation, potential remedies were suggested to the vendor for further improvements in the system. 000008871 650__ $$aQuality of Health Care$$025031 000008871 650__ $$aHeuristics$$011074 000008871 650__ $$aElective Surgical Procedures$$030065 000008871 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000008871 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000008871 7001_ $$aChang, Jinsoo$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000008871 8564_ $$90b48b451-eeaa-4220-9e5c-62b4276f58c1$$s438292$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/8871/files/Chang.Jinsoo.2021.pdf 000008871 905__ $$a/rest/prod/2r/36/tz/24/2r36tz247 000008871 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:8871$$pstudent-work 000008871 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
