With this in mind, it is important that those who experience brain injury receive the best care possible throughout their recovery. To ensure timely and focused appointments, some outpatient clinics require patients to complete intake paperwork prior to the first appointment. This can be challenging for patients who have experienced TBI. The aim of this project was to increase intake paperwork completion at an outpatient clinic in Tigard, Oregon specializing in TBI to enhance timeliness of care. Interventions took place during three separate PDSA cycles utilizing email reminders, phone call reminders and phone call reminders with a description of intake paperwork importance. 000008888 650__ $$aPatient Admission$$023659 000008888 650__ $$aBrain Injuries$$015797 000008888 650__ $$aQuality Improvement$$039456 000008888 650__ $$aTelecommunications$$026808 000008888 650__ $$aOrganization and Administration$$023272 000008888 6531_ $$atraumatic brain injuries 000008888 691__ $$aSchool of Nursing$$041370 000008888 7001_ $$aFurrow, Elaina$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000008888 8564_ $$9370a2467-95ee-4e06-a740-26961105de5b$$s263245$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/8888/files/Furrow.Elaina.2021.pdf 000008888 905__ $$a/rest/prod/p2/67/6w/10/p2676w102 000008888 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:8888$$pstudent-work 000008888 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
