We surveyed members of a Pacific Northwest AI tribe using a modified Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System questionnaire to assess demographics, health status, CRC risk factors, and screening practices. Compared to non-Hispanic Whites (NHWs) in Washington State, tribal members reported higher poverty, poorer health, and greater obesity prevalence. Despite these disparities, CRC screening rates were similar (61.3% vs. 58.7%). Older age and having a personal provider were associated with increased adherence. Findings suggest unique tribal characteristics may support screening despite socioeconomic challenges.}, url = {http://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/909}, doi = {https://doi.org/10.6083/M4542KMM}, }
