With this go-live, transmission of immunization data between the MTF and the Washington State Immunization Information System (WAIIS) ceased. Sharing this data allowed public health officials to more accurately assess immunization status and population health risk. Inclusion of external data helped to ensure complete immunization records of individuals treated at the MTF. We developed this project to facilitate information sharing between MHS GENESIS and the WAIIS. Parallel efforts aimed to both restore the basic flat-file functionality previously existing as well as establish a bi-directional HL7 interface. 000009117 650__ $$aImmunization$$020673 000009117 650__ $$aInformation Systems$$020807 000009117 650__ $$aMilitary Personnel$$022316 000009117 650__ $$aPolicy$$038967 000009117 650__ $$aPublic Health$$024885 000009117 650__ $$aElectronic Health Records$$038928 000009117 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000009117 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000009117 7001_ $$aCampbell, Barrett H.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009117 8564_ $$9a9c80c11-d0b8-4e2e-980d-cc14227de55d$$s535419$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/9117/files/Campbell.Barrett.2021.pdf 000009117 905__ $$a/rest/prod/70/79/58/39/70795839x 000009117 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:9117$$pstudent-work 000009117 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
