GE Healthcare has introduced a new reconstruction technique known as Q. Clear with a penalization factor (?) in order to improve the image quality (IQ) parameters and qualification of PET data. This study compared the IQ impact of our facility's current clinical OSEM (C. OSEM) and the available Q. Clear reconstruction technique using a NEMA phantom. We investigated the optimum ? value and its effect on IQ parameters on our 3 and 5-ring PET/CT scanners that would maintain the current diagnostic level of IQ while possibly allowing for a decrease in scan time on the scanners. 000009142 650__ $$aRadionuclide Imaging$$025115 000009142 650__ $$aDiagnostic Imaging$$017700 000009142 6531_ $$apet scans 000009142 6531_ $$act x ray 000009142 6531_ $$astandards 000009142 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000009142 7001_ $$aMojabi, Zahra S. 000009142 8564_ $$92eb41fcd-11d5-49c7-85ad-1561f0f921e4$$s2453976$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/9142/files/Mojabi.Zahra.2021.pdf 000009142 905__ $$a/rest/prod/gt/54/kn/61/gt54kn61s 000009142 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:9142$$pstudent-work 000009142 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
