To receive accreditation from The Joint Commission, facilities are required to track incidents where radiation dose indices from CT exams exceed their expected dose index; however, there is no universal definition as to what constitutes an expected dose index. This research focuses on creating a standard of practice for setting CT dose thresholds that maximize the sensitivity and specificity of tracking, ensuring appropriate patient safety without creating an excessive number of false-positive notifications.}, number = {ETD}, doi = {https://doi.org/10.6083/79407z033}, recid = {9147}, address = {2021}, }
