TY - THES N2 - During the period of SARS-CoV-19 global pandemic there was a significant shift in the number of telehealth visits performed at the Portland VA. The Portland VA Diabetes clinic conducted visits in person as well as via telemedicine technology. Telemedicine visits had been minimally implemented prior to this time period, and as such there are limited data around the efficacy of seeing patients in this manner. It is anticipated that after the pandemic there will continue to be an increase in telehealth visits, and to safely and appropriately do so, more data are needed on the efficacy of such visits.
