Unfortunately, sepsis is a challenging diagnosis to make early in its disease course due to reliance on subjective measures and laboratory studies. Capillary refill time (CRT) has been shown to be effective at both early recognition and monitoring of sepsis. Yet, CRT remains a subjective measure due to lack of instrumentation. 000009254 540__ $$fCC BY 000009254 542__ $$fIn copyright - joint owners 000009254 650__ $$aIntensive Care Units$$020904 000009254 650__ $$aPatient Care$$019442 000009254 650__ $$aSepsis$$031109 000009254 650__ $$aEarly Diagnosis$$035171 000009254 650__ $$aHemodynamics$$020042 000009254 650__ $$aEmergency Service, Hospital$$018352 000009254 650__ $$aSystemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome$$031063 000009254 6531_ $$acapillary refill time 000009254 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000009254 7001_ $$aSomogyi, Rita D.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009254 7001_ $$aHansen, Matthew$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009254 7001_ $$aCloutier, Robert$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009254 7001_ $$aSamatham, Ravi$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009254 7001_ $$aSheridan, David C.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009254 711__ $$aResearch Week$$uOregon Health and Science University$$d2021 000009254 8564_ $$97bfcd5a1-6bb9-4a5d-afc1-197395b8774b$$s150446$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/9254/files/Somogyi-Rita-OHSU-ResearchWeek-2021.pdf 000009254 905__ $$a/rest/prod/3b/59/19/30/3b5919309 000009254 980__ $$aResearch Week
