To address this, national health objectives like Healthy People 2020 and 2030 aim to increase CPR engagement through targeted strategies, including simplified training and understanding barriers to action. This paper explores the history of CPR, examines the potential of compression-only CPR as a more accessible alternative, and evaluates current efforts to promote its adoption in line with public health goals.
