000000938 520__ $$aPost-hospitalization care improves outcomes for patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI), yet disparities may limit access. Using Oregon Hospital Discharge Data (2008–2011), we analyzed 6,997 adults hospitalized for unintentional TBI to assess racial/ethnic and insurance-related differences in discharge disposition. Overall, 28% received post-hospitalization care, with lower rates among Hispanic (11%) and uninsured patients (3%). Adjusted models showed Hispanics (OR 0.62; CI 0.42–0.91) and uninsured patients (OR 0.21; CI 0.11–0.41) were less likely to receive care, while public insurance and worker’s compensation increased likelihood. Findings highlight significant disparities and underscore the need for strategies to promote equitable post-acute care.
