      abstract = {The use of acute care nurse practitioners (ACNPs) has been  increasing, and they are practicing in several different  specialty areas, including hospital medicine. However, this  expansion has outpaced the development and implementation  of postgraduate ACNP specific competency standards. This  project outlines the findings of a crosswalk analysis  between the Society of Hospital Medicine's (SHM) Core  Competencies in Hospital Medicine and the National  Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties' (NONPF)  Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)  Core Competencies. The primary aim of this examination is  to evaluate the level of alignment between these two  frameworks. Furthermore, recommendations for implementing  these findings will be discussed in the context of  developing local onboarding processes or Fellowships.},
