000000956 520__ $$aFarmworkers face significant disparities in healthcare access and outcomes, driven by factors such as rural residence, lack of insurance, language barriers, and undocumented status. In Oregon, the ¡Salud! Services program provides free health screenings and small grants for vineyard workers to improve early detection of chronic conditions. In 2011, 1,268 uninsured workers were enrolled; 51.3% attended a screening fair. Among those referred for abnormal results, only 14.9% sought follow-up care. Follow-up was significantly associated with family enrollment in the program and abnormal blood glucose referrals. These findings highlight the need for targeted outreach, education, and referral strategies to improve adherence and reduce health disparities.
