Bone autografts remain the gold standard to treat traumatic bone injuries. However, autografts can increase morbidity of the patient?s donor site and has limited availability. On the other hand, bioprinted microgels are attractive biomaterials that offer injectability, tunability, and acts as a cargo to deliver therapeutic proteins and cells. Here, we aim to bioprint and mineralize cell-laden gelatin methacrylate (GelMA) microgels and test the effects of cryopreservation on cell viability for bone tissue engineering applications. 000009584 540__ $$fCC BY 000009584 542__ $$fIn copyright - joint owners 000009584 650__ $$aBioprinting$$040002 000009584 650__ $$aBone Regeneration$$015733 000009584 650__ $$aMicrogels$$013109 000009584 650__ $$aOsteocytes$$023346 000009584 6531_ $$amineralization 000009584 6531_ $$abone grafting 000009584 6531_ $$aautograft 000009584 7001_ $$aSousa, Mauricio$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009584 7001_ $$aBalbinot, Gabriela$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009584 7001_ $$aVisalakshan, Rauhl$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009584 7001_ $$aSubiah, Ramesh$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009584 7001_ $$aBertassoni, Luiz$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009584 711__ $$aResearch Week$$uOregon Health and Science University$$d2022 000009584 8564_ $$95a6d4253-cac6-4502-b7dc-fa65c1a0326e$$s172079$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/9584/files/Sousa-Mauricio-OHSU-ResearchWeek-2022.pdf 000009584 905__ $$a/rest/prod/86/23/hz/55/8623hz558 000009584 980__ $$aResearch Week
