000009590 520__ $$aAging is a significant contributor to changes in sleep patterns which have compounding consequences on the cognitive health of older adults. An environmentally modifiable factor contributing to poor sleep in aging adults is light exposure. However, methods to reliably and continuously collect spectral light levels in the home are not well established. We explored the implementability of various light sensors and feasibility of remote deployment and data collection of both spectral light levels and sleep within subjects' homes.
