The prevalence of LUTS increases with age, and in the US, over a quarter of adults older than 50 years of age are affected. Increasingly severe LUTS are associated with decreased physical and mental quality of life, stigma and psychological distress, and falls among older adults. This dissertation presents some of the first studies to investigate CS as a possible mechanism of LUTS in men. 000009712 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000009712 650__ $$aLower Urinary Tract Symptoms$$039574 000009712 650__ $$aMusculoskeletal Pain$$039554 000009712 650__ $$aAged$$014351 000009712 650__ $$aEpidemiology$$018518 000009712 650__ $$aCentral Nervous System Sensitization$$039546 000009712 691__ $$aOHSU-PSU School of Public Health$$041366 000009712 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000009712 7001_ $$aSenders, Angela 000009712 8564_ $$910ab0908-2280-4f88-94aa-2881eaf25fb0$$s1200532$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/9712/files/Senders.Angela.2022.pdf 000009712 905__ $$a/rest/prod/qj/72/p7/86/qj72p7869 000009712 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:9712$$pstudent-work 000009712 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations 000009712 980__ $$aDual Author Affiliations Cleanup
