Introversion is one of the personality factors that has been associated with performance in medical school, though further studies are needed to examine this relationship more extensively. Pedagogically, the growing trend towards interactive learning threatens to disproportionately challenge introverted learners and overly advantage extraverted learners. This session will present key strategies to help both extraverted and introverted learners to thrive in classroom and clinical training settings. 000009720 540__ $$fCC BY 000009720 542__ $$fIn copyright - single owner 000009720 650__ $$aDelivery of Health Care$$017452 000009720 650__ $$aSimulation Training$$011090 000009720 650__ $$aTemperament$$026817 000009720 650__ $$aSocial Participation$$039452 000009720 650__ $$aMetacognition$$011143 000009720 6531_ $$acollaborative learning 000009720 6531_ $$aintroversion 000009720 6531_ $$aextraversion 000009720 6531_ $$atemperament-inclusive pedagogy 000009720 6531_ $$aadvancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical education 000009720 7001_ $$10000-0002-4456-9499$$aFry, Mary$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009720 711__ $$aSymposium on Educational Excellence$$uOregon Health and Science University$$d2022 000009720 8564_ $$9e902e4f8-0a83-4111-83dd-89cf9e7f9d38$$s9951768$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/9720/files/Fry.Mary.2022.pdf 000009720 905__ $$a/rest/prod/w0/89/2b/82/w0892b82v 000009720 980__ $$aOHSU Symposium on Educational Excellence (SEE)
