AB  - The first goal of this presentation was to educate the leadership of the American Legion about the risks and damage that the perception of seeking mental health care has had on the veteran community. The second goal was to build a model wherein the attendees could build this mentality into their daily lives. The third goal was to build allies to destigmatize mental health care and promote healthy emotional outlets and have them create their own goals to accomplish in their own groups. Lastly, the goal was to build buy-in and allow the members to identify and defend the mental health care from negative criticism and bad actors.
