AB  - According to Healthy People 2030, tooth decay is the most common chronic disease amongst children and adults in the United States. Dental caries are a potential source of pain, infection, and reduced quality of life contributing to overall health?affecting nutritional intake, school attendance, ER visits, and development. This oral health education on prevention of caries and influence of oral health on overall health was given to elementary school children at a Title X school in San Jose, California. 90% of students reported likeliness of oral health behavioral change following the presentation.
