Currently, algorithmic bias is poorly understood by clinicians who have an insufficient opportunity for training on this topic, leading to a risk of harm for patients when AI systems are used to provide clinical care. To improve awareness and understanding among clinicians regarding algorithmic bias, an online interactive module was developed based on a literature review with the content including case studies modeled on real-life AI tools. This module was deployed online while feedback is being received and analyzed in order to improve training in this area. 000009957 650__ $$aBias$$028791 000009957 650__ $$aDelivery of Health Care$$017452 000009957 650__ $$aMachine Learning$$011449 000009957 650__ $$aArtificial Intelligence$$015109 000009957 6531_ $$amedical education 000009957 691__ $$aSchool of Medicine$$041369 000009957 692__ $$aDepartment of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology$$041422 000009957 7001_ $$aCollins, Benjamin X.$$uOregon Health and Science University$$041354 000009957 8564_ $$97bc81f80-9917-45ce-b313-61295d5e7359$$s2966027$$uhttps://digitalcollections.ohsu.edu/record/9957/files/Collins.Benjamin.2022.pdf 000009957 905__ $$a/rest/prod/rx/91/3q/61/rx913q618 000009957 909CO $$ooai:digitalcollections.ohsu.edu:9957$$pstudent-work 000009957 980__ $$aTheses and Dissertations
