The OHSU MD-PhD Program Event Documents collection preserves materials created for, by, and about events hosted, organized, or supported by the OHSU Medical Scientist Training Program. It documents the program’s scientific, educational, professional-development, and community-building activities, including annual retreats, quarterly Physician-Scientist Forums, diversity-focused events, and events held in partnership with the American Physician-Scientists Association (APSA) such as the West Regional Meeting.
Materials include abstract and program booklets, event summaries, presentations, planning and promotional materials, and documentation created by students and other participants. Together, these records reflect the research interests, training experiences, and collaborative work of OHSU MD-PhD students, as well as their role in creating opportunities for scientific exchange, mentorship, networking, and career development among future physician-scientists.
