Z-scores tell you where a measurement lies on a normal distribution curve and are used in pediatric cardiology to classify cardiac abnormalities in Kawasaki Disease. The authors of this study compared PHN z-scores to Boston Z-scores which are both reported on echocardiograms at Doernbecher Children?s Hospital in an effort to uncover any impact on diagnosis and management of Kawasaki Disease.
