Intensive care unit (ICU) patients are susceptible to developing hospital acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs) which are associated with prolonged hospitalization, morbidity, and mortality. Determination of HAPI causes is difficult and not well elucidated. This quality improvement (QI) project aimed to identify risk factors for HAPIs in a medical ICU (MICU).
