Abstract
The Internet is increasingly recognized as a powerful resource for health information. Approximately one-third of patients rely on health searches conducted by family and friends on their behalf. As a result, the audience for health-specific information is vast, with many users seeking quick answers, often as a second opinion after consulting their physicians. Despite the growing popularity of the Internet among health information seekers, there are ongoing concerns about the quality and validity of this information. The objective of this project is to analyze consumer behavior and satisfaction related to the retrieval of quality health information using popular search engines.
