Several databases have been developed in rheumatology to profile the morbidity patterns of rheumatic diseases in the country and to capture detailed clinical and outcome information for patients with specific rheumatoid conditions. However, we are not aware of any database specifically designed to capture visit-related health information. In this thesis, a database was created for the outpatient clinic at Peking Union Medical College Hospital that focuses on rheumatoid diseases. The primary goal of this project was to develop a database that collects and organizes visit-related information for outpatients with rheumatic diseases, addressing the information needs essential for clinical research and enhancing the continuity of healthcare and education regarding rheumatoid diseases.
