Impact of an electronic health record operating room management system on documentation time, surgical volume, operating room turnover time and staffing in ophthalmology

This thesis evaluates the impact of implementing an electronic health record (EHR) operating room management system on intraoperative nursing documentation time, surgical volume, staffing needs, and operating room turnover, compared to baseline paper documentation. Findings aim to inform how EHR adoption influences efficiency and workflow in ophthalmic surgery settings.
