Mandibular rotation during growth can significantly influence orthodontic treatment planning, making accurate prediction an important diagnostic goal. This study evaluated multiple methods for predicting mandibular growth rotation, including the computerized growth forecast function of Quick Ceph Studio digital imaging software. An additional objective was to determine whether predictive accuracy differed among skeletal subgroups classified by ANB angle. Pre‑adolescent growth records from untreated subjects in the Oregon Child Study Clinic database were used to generate predictions, which were then compared with actual post‑adolescent growth outcomes. The performance of each method was assessed by examining the agreement between predicted and observed mandibular rotation across skeletal classifications.
