Abstract

Mammary gland development, which primarily occurs postnatally, requires coordination between epithelium, stroma, and immune cells. The main goal of this thesis was to extend our understanding of immune contributions to normal adult mammary gland development, specifically during pregnancy, lactation, and weaning.
