Louis G. Terkla, D.M.D., talks about his early years in Montana, his service in the Army Infantry during World War II, and his education. He discusses his many years at the University of Oregon Dental School as a faculty member and in the school administration as Assistant to the Dean and then Dean. Terkla discusses at length about the consolidation of the three schools into the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in the mid 1970s and about his relations with the various presidents of the University.
