A collection of ten miscellaneous surgical instruments, donated to OHSU by G.C. Schauffler, M.D. in 1938. Instruments include: three ebony-handled applicators, a double-end depressor, an ebony-handled periosteal elevator, a metal twin-pronged retractor, a four-pronged retractor with ebony handle, a single hook with an ebony handle, a metal-handled spoon scoop, and curved tenaculum forceps. The instruments are generally in fair condition, with minor rust and metal discoloration.
