A blood count kit in a blue velvet lined case. The case contains 1) an ivory hose piece with red rubber tubing attached, 2) two glass pipettes, one with red rubber tubing attached, 3) two glass slide covers, and 4) one count grid slide. The grid slide is marked "0.1T 1/400 gmm" on the left, and has the manufacturers name on the right. In the upper left corner, the word "NEW" has been scratched into the surface. The case itself is marked in ink on the bottom, "N.E. Wayson, 1902." Both the instrument and case are in generally poor condition. The case lid has separated from the bottom, and the velvet lining is loose. Some of the original rubber tubing is missing.
