Dr. David Huang is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Biomedical Engineering in the School of Medicine, an Associate Director & Director of Research at Casey Eye Institute, and Director of the Center for Ophthalmic Optics & Lasers. In this oral history, Dr. Yali Jia interviews Dr. Huang about his education and research background, his early career, and the chance occurrences and unpredictable events that led him to developing Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
