Description
A set of surgical instruments with ivory handles, donated by Harold M. Peery, M.D. The instruments formerly belonged to Dr. Jones, and are in good condition. The collection includes: 1) brass trephine, 2) curved vesical trocar, 3) Beers cataract knife, 4) straight trocar, 5) two long amputation knives, 6) Langenbeck metacarpal saw, 7) all-ivory elevator or separator, 8) grooved cataract needle, 9) threaded ivory instrument handle, and 10) seven minor surgery knives.
