Description

Pink taped and damaged cardboard box for "The Woman's Friend." Little is known about this product or the Oregon company that produced it. It claimed to cure menstrual disturbances such as irregularity, suppression, and leucorrhea (a medical term for discharge). The fact that the instructions direct the user to use after sex suggests that it may also have been used as birth control.
