An Osgood biopsy needle, in the original cardboard box which measures 6.7 x 1.6 x 1.6 cm. The metal needle has a cork stopper on the tip. Also with the needle is a box of silkworm gut, measuring 6.6 x 4.5 x 2.3 cm. The gut has become brittle. The Osgood biopsy needle was developed by UOMS faculty member Edwin Osgood.
