Fred Harwin is an artist, retired ocularist, and former Director of Medical Graphics for Oregon Health & Science University. In this oral history, Harwin is interviewed by his daughter, Lise Harwin, about his education, his career as a medical illustrator, his second career as founder and Director of the Center for Ocular Prosthetics, and his work illustrating the groundbreaking text The Manual of Cardiac Surgery.
