This project sought to determine if there has been an improvement in the number of studies that have reported on PRP preparation metrics and protocol since 2017 A systematic review of the literature published from 2017 to 2023 was conducted using PubMed/Medline database. Inclusion criteria were human clinical trials, English-language literature, and articles that investigated the effect of PRP injections in knee osteoarthritis.
