A metal aspirating syringe in a reddish-brown leather case. The purple silk-lined case has metal clasps, and measures 17 x 6 x 3.5 cm. The top lid is stamped in gold: Aspirating Syringe. The case contains: 1) metal syringe with three-ring plunger, 2) hypodermic needles, and 3) an unidentified apparatus. The set was donated by J.M. Batcheller, M.D., and is in fair condition.
