Abstract

The aim of this project was to begin the process of implementing virtual abnormal involuntary movement scale (AIMS) assessments on in-person patients at a rural behavioral health clinic. The primary context is that all prescribers do their work remotely by telephone, so the patient is not typically viewed. This project implemented virtual education modules on conducting AIMS exams and a new policy on rooming procedures for patients coming in person to the clinic.
