Abstract

Trauma secondary to abuse and neglect is prevalent among the pediatric population, especially among children younger than 4 years old and those with disabilities. Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) is one way to help mitigate the effects of trauma and prevent further psychological damage, yet many providers are not confident in how to implement TIC. The aim of this project is to increase TIC knowledge and confidence scores among pediatric providers.
