Cardiac arrest (CA) in pediatric cardiac patients remains a major concern, with in-hospital rates posing significant challenges. Despite quality improvement initiatives, survival improvements have plateaued, prompting the implementation of a Cardiac Arrest Prevention (CAP) bundle at OHSU’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to enhance early intervention and situational awareness with the ultimate goal of decreasing CA events amongst pediatric cardiac patients.
