A blood transfusion kit in a wooden case, measuring 24 x 19.2 x 5 cm. The unlined blond wood case has a lid plate which reads: Dr. Harry Icoster Transfusion Apparatus. The case contains: 1) four trocars, 2) wrench, 3) two glass-barrelled transfusion syringes, 4) table clamp, 5) small envelope, containing four ball bearings and four springs, 6) short length of black tubing, 7) four printed instruction leaflets, and 8) a T-shaped connector. The case is in fair to poor condition with heavy scratches, and the instruments are in good condition. Donated by Lt. David Taylor in November 1944.
