Abstract

Public health movements to be attended with any great degree of success must be based upon a complete understanding of all phases of the disease at which they are aimed. Armed with these facts, prevention becomes merely the logical application of medical knowledge against the causes and effects as determined. With these these principles in mind, let us consider the problem of eye defects in children.
