Abstract
It is evident there has been a decline in infant and maternal mortality during the past 25 years, but it is also an indubitable certainty that there is much more to be done throughout the world in measures to control the present death rate. This paper was written to present a few of our outstanding facts found most predominant in our infant and maternal mortality. To visualize what these statistics mean to us, as a nation, cannot but stimulate thought and action the end results from which we may work as individuals to improve by public influence the present death rate and make our country a safer and saner place for mothers and babies.
